Sønderballe Strand Camping

A little oasis at Genner Bay/Sønderballe Beach

Here are all the possibilities to experience swimming, hiking, biking, sailing, fishing or just simply relax.

The campsite is partly built up on terraces and many spots have a magnificent views of the bay or the sea.

In the bay there is always great activity of small fishing boats and sailboats and there is also a small kids-friendly beach near the campsite.

Outside Genner Bay lies the island Barsø, which can be visited by boat or ferry, and inside the bay lies the half-island Kalvø with a beachhotel and a small marina.

The campsite is located between Haderslev and Aabenraa (13 km) with historic streets and buildings, shopping opportunities and nice cafés and restaurants, and only 40 km to the border shops and the cosy Flensburg. 
Few meters from the campsite are bus connections to Haderslev and Aabenraa.

On the campsite there is a grill and kiosk which is open all weekends and public holidays – during the high season it is open every day.

The grill offers traditional fastfood and the kiosk sales ice cream, chips, candy and a smaller selection of kiosk items. Please see the opening hours at the door.

In the reception you can order and pick up freshly baked bread (bake-off). There is also a small selection of milk, cheese and other things for your breakfast. 

When were not in the reception you can call us (between 08.00 and 21.00) by using the doorphone or contact us by phone, we are usually always nearby.
